The media could not be loaded.I bought my first replacement kit about 6 months ago; it has performed well so I just bought & installed new fabric for the rest of my chairs. I am replacing the fabric on 3 jumbo padded zero gravity chairs I got for my local club warehouse. I used this chair for 6 months before buying replacement kits for the other two chairs. The replacement fabric is the perfect width, but it is a little shorter than the original cover. It does not reach the last 2 pairs of loops at the bottom of the chair, but it is just as comfortable! This fabric is not padded. In fact, when I set the chair in the shade on my back patio, I can look out my kitchen window and see right through the fabric. I spend more time looking through my kitchen window than sitting in my zero gravity chair so this is actually a big deal. My patio and backyard feel more spacious and less claustrophobic. I do not miss the padding that came with the chair, but I do like the soft, little wedge pillow so I kept it. It is the wrong color, but it is comfortable. My spouse threw away the pillow that came with his chair because he doesn’t need it. I kept the pillow for our guest chair because I think that taller people might need something to help keep the top of their head away from the top cross bar. This company sells pillows that match, so I plan on ordering them soon. INSTALLATION: This is not a 30-minute project. It took me 30 minutes to remove the straps and arms from each old chair. Then I had to figure out how to remove the rivets where the backs meet the seats. Next I found some stainless steel 5mm X 30mm screws and lock nuts to replace the rivets. A few days later, after all of that, I was finally able to remove the old fabric. Installing the new fabric is straight forward — but there are actually several ways to lace those eyelets I wanted all 3 chairs to look the same so I had to stop and take a lace all the way out a couple times when I realized I was going front-to-back instead of back-to-front. Even when I got it all correct, it took me more than 30 minutes to lace a chair, and that doesn’t include the time for pushing the fabric up and into position and screwing the handle and the lower hinge back together. I recommend setting aside between 1.5 and 2.0 hours to remove the old fabric and install this new fabric. If you have to remove and replace a rivet in the lower hinge like I did, figure that out before you start removing the laces. You will want to have the tools and the new hardware ready before you start. [...]
