Description This oval silver-sheen obsidian pendant has an oval cabochon at its heart that has a subtle shimmer. It is a one of a kind, handmade necklace set in sterling silver. Silver-sheen obsidian is a type of black obsidian, a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock. It has a distinctive black colour with a silvery-grey sheen caused by the presence of of tiny gas bubbles that reflect strong light and give it its unique appearance. Source: The Gem Library.
