“Grade A” – May have minor “defects” such as grain width varies or not of uniform progression, minor knot shadow or wave in portion of the piece, grain less that 85-90 degrees from vertical center-line (re-saw cut), etc. Photos for reference, only, and only show aspect of the grain. All pieces are different. Other factors affect grading – cut, reflectively, etc. and,…experience!
