Well once the dog figured out how to use it this ladder worked perfect. Its a little bigger than i would like but the fabric works much better for the dogs feet than most of the metal steps out there.One interesting things the assembly instructions suck I though I was missing pieces but I figured it out after a few minutes. Also the lower section which rest on the boat is different than what is in the photo but I think it works better than what is shown. It actually supports it self on the bottom of the boat with a curved section at the end. I would buy it again.
