These dried veggies are great ! My husband had a stroke in 2022. Up until that time, he was a big meat eater, but no veggies, fruits, or whole grains. After the stroke, his diet flipped ! All he would eat was candy, cookies, Little Debbie’s cakes, garbage. He’s had stomach issues since the stroke, but would not eat ANYTHING that remotely looked like food. Unless it was total garbage, he wouldn’t touch it. He also wouldn’t listen to me about the need to eat healthier to rehab his body. I was at my wits end. Finally I found these veggies and the lightbulb came on ! I bought these and before using them, I grind them into a powder with my spice grinder. I mix them into foods that he will eat like “homemade” brownies, microwave mug cakes and small batch cookies. I use 1/4 cup of them before grinding and put them into these small batches. He loves the no bake chocolate/peanut butter cookies, made with oats, so I make them a lot with a double batch of the veggies, and a full scoop of chocolate protein powder, because the recipe that I have for them makes quite a few. He doesn’t even know they were in there. I am doing the same thing with protein powders, and collagen powders. I use them all in different foods. Like the veggies powder in the brownies, and no bake cookies, (it seems easier to hide the veggies in them), the protein and or collagen powders in the cakes and/or cookies. I also bought some fruit and veggies capsules from Amazon, which I give him once a day. I tell him it’s a multi-vitamin. Between all of this, after a little less than month or so, I guess it flipped a switch and now he’s requesting scrambled eggs, tuna salad, egg salad, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and he even had a good sized dish of my homemade pot roast, complete with potatoes, onions, celery, and carrots served on some brown rice last night ! I’m going to keep supplementing his foods with this process. By the way, I also use them for myself, by rehydrating them and adding them to my ramen, and I’ve even used them, as they come, but rehydrated in a mayonaise based pasta salad I’ve been making myself. Thank you Amazon and Auguson Farms for helping me get some nutrition into my husband, when he refuses to do it for himself ! If anyone is going through this with a loved one, I pray this helps you, and I would be glad to help with my recipes that I’ve used for him. My email is [email protected]
