these came in yesterday and i immediately but them to charge up. Once they were done i was excited to try them out…….. but … but .. the dang thing would NOT turn on. Baffled, i giggled a wire here, wiggled another there – still no light. I could knew were getting a charge based on the green illuminated battery pack but they just played dead as a possum. It was at about this point that i started to curse that seller under my breath for selling such a piece of crap! GRRR! Still tinkering and still muttering 4 letter words to myself came upon a snap closure on the backside of the battery pack so naturally i opened it. LOW AND BEHOLD – those gawd dang batteries both had those “remove before use” stickers on them!!! (These do not come with any set of instruction or any brochure to refer to, so how was i supposed to know i had to remove the stickers. Anyhow, i figured it out.) Removed the stickers closed the battery pack and hit the on button and …”AZIZ, LIGHT!” And there was light and all was well once again. So now that i have confirmed the light does indeed work and that i indeed take back my fit of derogatory statements.THIS LIGHT IS SWEEEEET!! Its so dang bright, its harnessed the power of the sun, i’m afraid to look at my husband for fear the beam will reduce him to ash! lol ok not really, it just temporarily blinded him. The light has 3 settings – retina wrecker, normal and strobe. One small disappointment is it doesnt feature any other alternative colored light options as many other headlights, not a deal breaker for me. The headlamp features the option to adjust the beam from its standard “flood” wide beam setting to a very very focused “spotlight” beam. we own several many headlights and none have the capacity to focus as their beams tightly as this light does, i am thoroughly impressed. They use two head straps, one around your head and the other over the top of your head, instead of the typical single strap. The plastic portion where the light is physically mounted on to is larger than would be expected and has a slight bend to accommodate your forehead. Situated at the back where the straps intersect is where you’ll find the battery pack. the battery pack youll find to be a bit bulkier compared to others, however it doesnt interfere while youre wearing it, in fact i even forget the battery is there at all. over all the weight of the light is not an issue. i would totally recommend this light.
