Ok, just to be fair, I’ll give the good points first.1) Bright. Very bright. I work outside where there isn’t always decent available light at night. I was able to see clearly at quite a impressive distance. Keep in mind, it’s a headlamp, not a spotlight.2) Seemed to hold a charge. Key word there is “Seemed”. I don’t always work at night, and sometimes when I do there is additional light so I didn’t always need the Big Guy.Now the cons.1) It’s big. Like, person trying to grow a rhino horn big. Heavy. Could be a pain if I had to wear it for extended times.2) Charging. The indicator never showed it fully charged. So after it got as far as it would go I would take it off so as not to overcharge. But that turned out to be a moot point. Now, just over two months of owning, it won’t charge at all. No lights, no cutting it on, nothing. Different cords and outlets to rule out one of them potentially being bad.Overall, if you don’t need it to work reliably, then it’s great. If your kid is cosplaying as the blinding light from the ark of the covenant, but only for a short time, it’s perfect.If you’re buying it for one or two camping trips, you’re probably ok. But anything more substantial than that and you’re going to wind up wandering around in the dark.*edit*Seller reached out asking about fixing the situation. So keep that in mind. Products will have faults. That’s just the nature of the internet beast. But they at least attempted to make it right. That’s commendable.**edit 2Seller has continued to follow-up. Even though the original is gone, I have received messages saying a replacement is on its way. I will definitely adjust my rating if this falls the way it looks. I have to say, seller response and customer service has impressed me.***Edit 3Haha, I apologize for the novel. After working overnight, I woke up to a unexpected package. Not only did the seller send me a brand new replacement, they did it in roughly 2 days. Two thumbs up to their commitment to customer service. The original purchase was already disposed of, no packaging, etc,. But they didn’t hesitate to do what they could to fix a issue.Would definitely use this company again.I hope this doesn’t come off as over the top. I don’t mind holding businesses accountable if they drop the ball, but I will gladly pass along positive experiences too.
