I’m leaving this review in hopes of helping out some of the people who were inconvenienced by having to unscrew and rescrew the software. It’s not the end of the world to have to do that of course, but for your convenience, I strongly suggest getting tubular lightbulbs instead. That’s what we had on hand and they fit in without any trouble at all. You won’t have to think twice about changing the lightbulb on these then.Like someone said, it’s maybe a slightly expensive lamp for the going rate on Amazon, but if you were to buy this in a store you would for sure pay more. It holds up well, the slightly frosted globe gives a nice effect (diffuses light well), and it’s not plastic/doesn’t feel cheap. We’ve got three in the house now. I would recommend.
