Paired with a Solid Spruce top, the use of this tried-and-tested material brings out some singing top-end articulation, giving light finger-picked sections and chords the stunning crisp vibrancy you’d expect from a Martin acoustic. The D-14 Fret body features Martin’s Forward Shifted scalloped X bracing, meaning that the D-45 has a strong and robust structure that’ll last a lifetime. Offering excellent stability, this bracing also allows the top to vibrate more freely for improved resonance. Neck The neck is formed from Mahogany, a tried-and-tested choice that delivers beautifully warm tones.
