Yamaha’s NTX1 acoustic-electric combines a nylon-string guitar’s modern looks with a comfortable neck profile that allows electric guitarists and steel-string players to enjoy nylon-string playing. The addition of strap buttons and great amplified sound also make it appealing to performing guitarists. It features an APX body shape with a solid Sitka spruce top, nato or okume back and sides, and an undersaddle 3-band EQ preamp with tuner.
