Karl Hermann Pernambuco French Model Bass Bow circa 1979-1985

click picture to enlarge Stamped: KARL HERMANN GERMANY – on butt of the bow This Karl Hermann pernambuco bass bow is a strong, firm stick, octagonal in section, with nickel mounting. The bow has been gone over here in the shop as we gave the bow a new facial tip, full cleaning, polished the silver, and rehaired the bow. The bow has an imitation winding with a leather thumb. The frog is a half lined Parisian eye model and has a three-piece end button. It is in excellent condition and will make a great bow for the bassist who wants to upgrade to a wood bow.
