Fiddlerman Carbon Fiber Viola Bow

click picture to enlarge Made for the Fiddlerman Violin Shop, we are offering a full-size viola bow suitable for playing a 14” viola and larger. It is a black carbon fiber bow with a specially made ebony frog with a nickel silver single eye. The bow features a strong camber and nickel silver winding . Carbon fiber bows are not affected by humidity. Any bow with real horsehair will see the hair elongate in humid weather, but wooden bows have both the wood and the hair affected by humidity. I have just cleaned up the bow and re-haired the bow. The bow is round in section, leather thumb, and completed in nickel mounts. It is a fully lined viola bow with an ebony frog. The frog is finished off with laser carving of the Fiddlerman insignia on the player side of the bow. These carbon fiber bows are made to last and will survive drops and an occasional more serious mishap.
